About AROI
The concept of forming the Association of Radiation Oncologists of India stemmed from the visionary thinking of a few professionals in the field. Their aim was to create a platform where radiation oncologists from across India could come together, exchange experiences, and share research findings in the field of Radiation Oncology. This idea materialized into the establishment of the Association of Radiation Oncologists of India (AROI), with its inaugural conference held in Nagpur in 1978. Since then, AROI has grown significantly, spanning 43 years and expanding its membership to over 4000 individuals.AROI places great emphasis on academic and research activities within Radiation Oncology and its related disciplines. The association remains dedicated to advocating for the interests and addressing the needs of radiation oncologists across India.
